This is the latest painting by Sharon Menary.   Well Jelly Bean Jungle sold, but before it sold I had painted this trumpet flower, originally intenting to paint it in soft colors, but when I chose my first paint color, the vibrant red was on my brush.

I guess the painting knew what I now know - it wanted to jump with joy - in this case color representing joy.
